Sapa

Sapa is a beautiful summer resort located 1,600 m above sea level, by the Muong Hoa River in Lao Cai Province. The mountainous topography of this town impresses the visitors. Sapa's temperate climate and beauty were already known by the French as early as the beginning of the century when they built many villas here. The town is now the main tourist destination of the region with a lot of luxurious hotels and villas, and welcome thousands of visitors every year. There are several places of interest such as the Silver Fall, Rattan Bridge, Wind grotto, and Ham Rong Mountain dotted about the town.
