A VAT Refund Application for Tourists must be filled out at the time of purchase and a passport must be presented. It is possible to obtain cash refunds at the airport departure hall (minimum THB 5,000) if you show the items you purchased, and often you'll need to show the goods you purchased as well.
Voltage: A & C plugs (two flat-pronged or round-pronged holes); 220 volt AC (50 cycles). If you want to use 110-volt appliances, you will need a voltage converter and plug adapter. Our recommendation is to get a universal adapter and converter kit.
